Christmas just wouldn’t be Christmas without my annual festive gift guide. I do them every year and really love picking out beautiful present ideas that I would love to buy you, my awesome readers.
This year I’ve chosen to follow a bit of a theme and this is something that I plan on working on some more in 2017. All the gifts in this year’s theme are centered on my love for the concept of hygge, mindfulness and taking some time out just for you. Self-care is always high on my priority list and I’m making it my ‘big thing’ next year, so I’ve handpicked some gorgeous gifts that I hope will inspire you to put yourself first too.
1. Cotton & Cable
Fairy lights a wonderful way to bring subtle light into the home and to create the perfect hygge atmosphere. I love these fun sets from Cable & Cotton, which can be personalised to suit your room decor and can add a pop of colour too.
2. Geometric Glass Terrarium
Whether you’re looking to spruce up your home or not, this geometric glass terrarium would make the perfect home for a succulent or candle.
3. Cosy Aran Knitted Socks
These long hand knitted socks are the perfect kind of cosy. Made from 100% wool, they’re luxurious without being overly expensive.
4. Oh Comely
Sitting down with a magazine and warm drink is the perfect way to escape the world for a while. A magazine subscription would make a lovely gift, and I’m really enjoying Oh Comely at the moment.
5. Raw Halo
Chocolate is a super comfort food and always part of any cosy evening that I have at home. This mylk and pink Himalayan salt raw chocolate bar sounds heavenly and how gorgeous is that packaging.
6. Flowering Tea Gift Caddy
There is nothing better than taking a moment for yourself with a warm cup of tea, or coffee if you prefer. Flowering tea bulbs add a hint of luxury to a bog standard cuppa and they look so pretty when they open up.
7. British Made 100% Wool Blanket Grey
A moment curling up on the sofa, in bed, or relaxing by the fire needs a beautiful throw and I think this one will suit any decor.
8. Beefayre Bee Kind Candles
Candles create the ultimate hygge atmosphere and I always like to have one lit. I do prefer natural candles that are kinder to the environment and Beefayre candles are made from natural plant wax. Neroli and rosemary inspire a sense of wellbeing and positivity.
9. Hygge - the Danish art of happiness
I have this on my Christmas wish list and the pretty cover drew me in. The ideal gift for any hygge lover that would like to learn more.
10. Floral Print Revere Collar Pyjamas
On a day when I want to lounge on the sofa I’m normally in my slouchy casuals, you know the ones that you wouldn’t dare wear outside. I fancied something a bit more luxurious and as soon as I saw this beautiful set from Rosie For Autograph I had to have them, the print is stunning and I can attest for their comfortability factor.
11. Joco Glass Reuseable Coffee Mug
If you like a hot drink and are always on the go, want to save some money and environmentally conscious too, then you need one of these stylish reusable coffee cups in your life.
12. Twist And Turn Hot Water Bottle Cover
If your hot water bottle is looking a bit tired and worse for wear, give it a pretty face lift with a gorgeous arran knit cover. I think this one has cosy written all over it and a lovely gift for a woman or the man in your life.
13. Pure New Wool Cobweave Cushion
Creating a cosy nook in your home is a great way to bring more hygge and comfort into your life. A space for quiet and peaceful moments, accessorize it with pretty cushions and throws to make it even more blissful.
