A life update and reflection on what has been happening in March - the good, bad and the ugly.

Sometimes in life, you really find your groove and right now I feel so connected on every level in all areas of life.  Maybe it’s the spring sunshine that we’ve had over the past few days in the UK that’s really lifted me, I’m not sure, but I’m in a really happy place at the moment and feeling grateful.

This month has been an epic one for me for many reasons, it’s had such an uplifting energy about it that I just can’t explain it.  Life likes to throw curve balls at us, and there have been a few occasions where things haven’t gone so well, but my self care practices and being mindful have really steered me away from negative places or at least not dwell on them for too long.

Celebrating International Women’s Day

I’m loving the female empowerment movement that seems to be gaining in popularity at the moment.  Seeing my feeds full of celebratory words about women from all walks of life was pretty amazing and inspiring.  On International Women’s Day, I was in London working with a wonderful group of women and there was such an awesome vibe in the air and we all got on really well. The other ladies have bigger social media followings than me and at the peak of their careers, but each one was humble, welcoming and wonderfully supportive.  I’m a massive believer in the power of women coming together and encouraging one another and this was no truer on this day.

Baby Number 2

I’m not sure if you missed it, but I announced over on Instagram that our family is expanding – baby number 2 is on the way!  We’re so excited about the new addition who is due to make their entrance into the world in July. It all still feels a bit surreal and I’m feeling slightly apprehensive about going up to two children.  I’ll be sharing about my second pregnancy and how everything is going soon.

Birthday Celebrations

I’m not sure how I would feel about turning 32, I thought I would hate it, but in fact, it feels pretty good.  Most of this is down to being in a content place right now and practicing gratitude daily has been revolutionary in this area – I’ve got so much to be thankful for. I was truly spoiled by my two favourite boys and the sun decided to shine too, making the day even more beautiful.  Lots of time outside exploring, family time and food made it an amazing day!

Booking a Holiday

This only happened a few days ago, but we finally got round to booking a holiday to Cyprus.  We’re so overdue one as a family and it’s much-needed, even Aiden has told us that he needs a holiday.  If your 3-year-old is telling you this, you know that it’s time to get one booked.  I’m really looking forward to some chill out time, sunshine and our last holiday as a family of 3…eek!
