Salmon is one of my favourite fishes to eat and itโ€™s packed full of omega-3 fatty acids and protein which means that itโ€™s a great at increasing alertness and concentration.

Yum! A creamy avocado makes the best guacamole and I love it on top of my healthy Chocolate and Jalapeno Turkey Chilli.  The residing healthy fats mean that they are very filling, which maintains blood sugar levels allowing you to focus on your work.

Hurrah!  Chocolate is actually good for you and has a health benefit! This can be said for dark chocolate in particular, which contains antioxidants and cortisol reducing properties that are associated with high levels of stress. Snacking on dark chocolate may increase the blood flow to the brain and, in turn, boost your concentration levels. 

Nuts

Not just a healthy snack, but eating a handful of almonds, walnuts or cashew nuts can help maintain a steady blood sugar level, preventing those nasty energy slumps that we are all too familiar with – giving you the energy you need to get through your busy day.
